Get to know the FRP technology for industrial railings and stop worrying about maintenance

Guarda corpo indústria

When we talk about industrial environments, the railing is a structure that plays a fundamental role in the safety of people, protecting the side faces of stairs, walkways, terraces, mezzanines, ramps or open spans. In addition to preventing accidents, the railing also has the function of handrail and facilitates the movement of people.

Ecofibra’s FRP railings are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology through the pultrusion process, in which fiberglass impregnated with polyester resin is pulled through a heated mold at temperatures ranging from 60 to 250 °C, acquiring the final shape of the piece. Ecofibra has a solid history of supplying railings for large industries in the most varied segments, such as: Chemical, Paper and Pulp Industries, Sugar and Alcohol Production Plants, in addition to Water, Sewage and Effluent Treatment Stations.

Why choose Ecofibra’s FRP industrial railings?

HIGH RESISTANCE AND DURABILITY

Pultruded FRP profiles are a quarter the weight of steel and 25% lighter than aluminum. In terms of life cycle, composites can last more than 50 years without the need for maintenance.

CUSTOMIZED MAKING

We manufacture according to the needs of your industry and the characteristics of your design.

LOW MAINTENANCE COST

FRP does not require any type of preventive or corrective maintenance, as it does not corrode and does not require cathodic protection.
